Our Story
Owner/Registered Nurse Desert Healing Vitamins
My name is Shana Clark and I’ve been in the medical field for 16 years. Of those 16 years, 11 years I have been working as a Registered Nurse in various different hospitals all around the country. Since I was a little girl, my grandmother always told me that I would grow up and be a nurse so I could take care of her when she got older. I never fully believed her until I graduated with my first bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and decided to go back to school to become a nurse. My passion in life has been to help those in need starting from the basics. Working in the Emergency Department most of my career, I have seen first hand where the healing process begins. It’s not after you are in the hospital, it starts before. Having the essential education and proper health of your body can prevent your visits to the Emergency Department.
Desert Healing has been inspired from watching my mother battle cancer for the past 3 years. She is now at the tail end of the therapy and actively goes to a specialist in her home town that offers vitamin injection therapies. After attending only 4 sessions, her energy levels have increased, the inflammation around her joints decreased and she is able to live day to day without extreme amounts of pain. Watching her go through this battle inspired me to help others in the community who are suffering from similar experiences and would benefit from these injections. IV hydration will only increase the help to those who suffer from dehydration or lack of fluids, vitamin and minerals.
The medical direction will be from Dr. Holman, MD, who specializes in Emergency Medicine. With our years of experience combined, we have acquired a vast pool of resources and information which we draw our ideas from . We will apply our systematic and analytic approach that works with the data driven analysis and community-based research to make sure that we have a working solution that is not just business centric, but also acceptable to community standards.
After spending 2 years undergoing Immunotherapy for Metastic Melanoma I began to have side effects that included joint pain and inflammation and also fatigue. I can say that it was almost immediate that I felt a difference in my energy level from receiving B12 shots. I was no longer taking naps everyday and I find myself needing less sleep at night also. My inflammations in my knees has decreased also. I was never one that benefitted from taking pills or vitamins but the injections are amazing and work well for me. I have had nothing but positive results from taking these injections weekly.
